West Michigan PPE Project Contributors

When the group started, it was a few individuals that had formed small networks of 3D Printers to fill a gap in PPE supply for local organizations. Those groups combined and pooled resources and talents to create an operation focused on helping those who are on the front lines fighting COVID-19.

Now, just over a week later the group has over 190 3D printers signed up and has shipped thousands of face shields on a donation basis.

The businesses and individuals spearheading this effort have spent countless hours working through the details, setting up processes and executing. As of today, 3D printed Face Shields have been provided to 64 organizations and the team is working towards injection molding to be able to help supply an even greater quantity of Face Shields.

Some of the organizations that have helped make this happen are below, this list is growing daily and the team is continually amazed at the generosity of local businesses, even during this very difficult time.
